WSH Awards 2026: Celebrating the Best
On 24 September, more than 2,200 guests from the business and WSH communities came together to celebrate a record 367 award recipients. Themed “Celebrating the Best”, the ceremony honoured exemplary companies and individuals whose leadership, commitment and exemplary practices help build safer and healthier workplaces for all.
In his Welcome Remarks, WSH Council Chairman Mr Abu Bakar Mohd Nor highlighted another record for the Awards: 820 applications, the highest number received to date. The strong participation across award categories reflected the many ways organisations and individuals are advancing WSH - through leadership, innovation, care for workers, and excellence in everyday work practices. He also emphasised that everyone has a part to play, with leadership at every level, from top management to supervisors and workers, critical to sustaining WSH excellence.
Opening the ceremony, Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for Manpower, reflected on the marked improvement in Singapore's WSH performance over the years. To sustain this momentum, he outlined three priorities: recognising exemplary WSH performance; helping companies strengthen their capabilities through the newly launched StaySAFE programme; and continually updating WSH standards to address emerging risks.

Our Awards Recipients At a Glance
The 367 recipients comprised:
- 3 developers who promoted good WSH practices among their contractors;
- 274 companies and projects with exemplary WSH performance;
- 13 bizSAFE Partners committed to bringing more organisations on board the bizSAFE programme and incorporating WSH into their business practices;
- 17 bizSAFE STAR SMEs that have demonstrated exemplary WSH performance;
- 23 companies with exemplary mental well-being practices;
- 12 innovative teams that developed safer and better ways of working;
- 8 bizSAFE enterprises that used technology to enhance WSH and productivity; and
- 17 WSH officers and supervisors dedicated to keeping workers safe and healthy.
