WSH Awards 2025
On 24 September, close to 2,000 guests from the business and WSH communities witnessed 301 award recipients being recognised for their commitment to workplace safety and health (WSH). Themed “Celebrating the Best”, this year’s WSH Awards ceremony honoured exemplary companies and individuals for their efforts in upholding WSH standards and ensuring safe and healthy workplaces for all.

In his Welcome Remarks, WSH Council Chairman Mr Abu Bakar Mohd Nor expressed his delight in celebrating recipients from diverse industries, even with the tightening of application requirements. He was encouraged by the stronger showing from SMEs, with more recognised this year, as compared to 2024. He also urged wider industry participation in the WSH Awards, emphasising that WSH is vital across all sectors.
In his Opening Address, Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for Manpower, and Culture, Community and Youth, lauded this year’s award recipients for exemplifying collective WSH ownership that reinforces the culture of WSH excellence. He highlighted that at its heart, WSH is about Conviction to uphold high WSH standards, Care for workers’ well-being, and Commitment to continuous improvement – qualities strongly reflected in the recipients. MOS Dinesh also called on the industry to uphold their WSH vigilance after sharing Singapore’s annualised fatality rate of 0.92 per 100,000 workers during the first half of this year.
