Note: If you have details of your outstanding salary claim, including the amount, you can submit your mediation request online with your Singpass. The next step will be an online or in-person mediation session at TADM.

You may also click on “Ask TADM” chatbot (icon at the bottom right) to get immediate answers to your queries, get a preliminary assessment and file your claim. You may be directed to make an appointment to speak to an advisory officer if the chatbot is unable to address your queries.

Do take note of the time limit(s) to file your claim(s).
You may visit the Ministry of Manpower if you have general queries on the Employment Act.

About us

Through advisory and mediation services, we help employees and employers manage employment disputes, or self-employed persons manage payment-related disputes, amicably.

Who we are

The Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM) is jointly set up by the tripartite partners: the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).

Our key services

We offer advisory and mediation services.

Mediation

We provide mediation for:

  • Salary-related claims These are claims arising when a party breaches an agreement in an employment contract or under the Employment Act. These claims must first be mediated before they can be heard by the Employment Claims Tribunals.

  • Wrongful dismissal claims under the Employment Act and Child Development Co-Savings Act for dismissals without just or sufficient cause. We will assess if the claim on wrongful dismissal can be substantiated before arranging for mediation. If your wrongful dismissal claims cannot be resolved at TADM, you can pursue the claim at the Employment Claims Tribunals.

Note: Managers or executives dismissed with the required notice or salary in-lieu of notice according to their terms of employment must have at least 6 months of service to submit a claim for wrongful dismissal. For managers or executives dismissed without notice, no minimum service period is required.

  • Appeals under the Retirement and Re-employment Act referred by the Ministry of Manpower.

For other types of employment disputes, or payment-related disputes for self-employed persons, we may offer mediation where appropriate.

Advisory services for employees and self-employed persons

We offer advisory services only for employees and self-employed persons. We will explain the options available for managing an employment dispute. Depending on the case, we may recommend other partners who can help you.

You can tap on the "Ask TADM" chatbot advisory service to get immediate answers to your queries. You may be directed to make an advisory appointment if the chatbot is unable to address your queries.

Note: Employers may consider using the Employer Advisory Services at the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) to get advice.
