Starting Out

2. Get Advice on Employment Matters

The Employer Advisory Service (EAS) offers advice on how to apply the Employment Act in different scenarios. It also provides guidance on the employment terms and conditions required under specific labour laws (e.g. Child Development Co-Savings Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and Retirement and Re-employment Act).

Please refer to Changes to the Employment Act with effect from 1 April 2019 for an implementation guide for employers and HR practitioners. If you require advice on how to apply the employment laws based on specific scenarios, you may call or visit the EAS.

Note: This is a paid service. It does not provide legal advice or discuss points of law. It only provides practical guidance on how to apply laws, based on specific scenarios.
