WSH Awards 2024
The Awards are presented to companies and individuals that have performed well in safety and health by implementing exemplary management systems.
WSH Awards 2024
On 30 July, more than 2,000 guests from the business and WSH communities witnessed 323 award recipients being recognised for their commitment to workplace safety and health (WSH). Themed “Celebrating the Best”, this year’s WSH Awards ceremony lauded companies and individuals for their high standards in ensuring safe and healthy workplaces for all.
In his Opening Address, Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Manpower, commended this year’s award recipients for demonstrating collective WSH ownership that reinforced the culture of WSH excellence. Announcing that Singapore had successfully sustained her WSH performance from 2023, with an annualised fatality rate of 1.0 during the first half of this year, he called on everyone to maintain their WSH vigilance in bringing down the fatality and injury rates even further.
This year’s ceremony also welcomed the integration of the bizSAFE Awards, reflecting a unified effort to elevate WSH standards and encourage more organisations, especially the SMEs, to prioritise WSH in their business operations.
