About the Hands-on Clinic
Not sure whether your organisation’s employment practices are ready for the Workplace Fairness Act (WFA), or where to start?
Designed for SMEs seeking practical guidance on how to prepare for Workplace Fairness, this 3-hour hands-on clinic will help you review your employment practices using the Fair and Progressive Employment Index (FPEIndex) Workplace Fairness module. While the clinic is designed with SMEs in mind, employers and HR practitioners from organisations of all sizes are welcome.
TAFEP facilitators will guide you through the self-assessment, covering recruitment, managing employees and ending employment. You will learn how to complete the assessment, understand the recommendations and identify areas for improvement and compliance.
Come ready to assess your practices and leave with clearer understanding of where your organisation stands and what you can do to strengthen workplace fairness in your organisation.
Through this session, you will:
-
Understand key WFA requirements and what they mean for your organisation.
-
Complete your organisation’s FPEIndex Workplace Fairness self-assessment with guidance from facilitators.
-
Understand your assessment results (i.e. downloadable report) and recommendations, and identify potential gaps in your existing practices.
