As the year draws to a close, we urge companies to stay vigilant and maintain strong WSH practices to safeguard the safety and health of your workers. 

We call on all companies to review WSH processes and procedures during this period. This provides an opportunity for management and workers to reinforce preventive measures across worksites.

Suggested activities:

• Conduct management walk-abouts to check that risk management systems are effectively implemented and safe work procedures are followed.
• Encourage workers to report near-miss incidents to supervisors and share ways to prevent recurrence.
• Refresh WSH training.
• Inspect equipment; re-certify them if needed.
