Another Community of Practice (CoP) focused on WSH has been launched, this time for the manufacturing sector. The Tripartite CoP for the Manufacturing Sector was formed to bring together senior leaders to share their experiences, address common challenges, and champion improvements in WSH.


The key role of leadership in raising WSH standards took centre stage during the CoP’s launch. Mr Adrian Lim, Council Member of the Singapore National Employers Federation, who also sits on the WSH Council, called for greater collaboration and urged participants to embark on their bizSAFE journey. 


Speakers from the Ministry of Manpower, Micron Technology, and Puritec Technologies Pte Ltd shared their views on how clear direction from the top is vital in building stronger work cultures, leading to better WSH outcomes. Programmes like bizSAFE and its WSH equivalents credentials help to do this, but also improves productivity and open up more business opportunities.  

Participants were encouraged to apply the learnings within their organisations, lead by example, and foster a culture that places safety and health at the core of their operations.
