Record Number of Employers Honoured for Exemplary Employment Practices
14 Nov 2025Press Releases
A record 43 organisations and 5 individuals (see Annexes A and B) were honoured at this year’s Tripartite Alliance Award 2025 for their exemplary employment practices — the highest number of winners since the Award’s inception in 2018.
The Award also drew unprecedented participation from 174 organisations, a 50% increase from 2023. The significant increase reflects the growing recognition and commitment among employers to build fair and progressive workplaces. Notably, close to 30% of the winning organisations were small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This demonstrates that all organisations, regardless of size, can adopt fair and progressive practices and create supportive workplaces for their employees.
The presentation ceremony, organised by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP), was graced by Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Minister-in-charge of Energy and Science & Technology in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as the Guest of Honour.
Among the honourees, Dementia Singapore Ltd and Maybank Singapore Limited were conferred the prestigious Pinnacle Award, in recognition of their holistic people-centric strategies and practices that went above and beyond the scope of the Tripartite Alliance Award. For example, Dementia Singapore raised its retirement and re-employment ages to 65 and 70 respectively since 2021, nine years ahead of the 2030 legislative requirement. Maybank Singapore, a second-time winner, launched its “FutureReady” upskilling programme to strengthen its workers’ resilience and employability. The initiative equips all employees with digital literacy skills and offers targeted training for those aged 40 and above, enabling them to adapt confidently to new technologies and innovate. “It is truly inspiring to see the record number of Tripartite Alliance Award winners this year. This is a strong indication that more employers across Singapore are championing fair and progressive employment practices. The Tripartite Alliance Award winners have shown that when employers prioritise their people, they are not only building stronger teams but also investing in their businesses’ continued success. We encourage employers and workers to embrace the pro-business, pro-worker, and pro-future spirit of our tripartite partners, and work together to create workplaces that are resilient and future-ready,” said Mr Bob Tan, Chairperson, Tripartite Alliance Limited.
