About the training session
The Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), formulated by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices, sets out fair employment practices for adoption by employers. By having recruitment practices that are fair and merit-based, employers will attract a wider pool of candidates, increasing their chances of finding the best person for the job. In this way, employers will be able to maximise the abilities and potential of employees as well as improve morale and reduce turnover which contributes to business outcomes.
The Fair Employment Training Session aims to help employers gain a deeper understanding of the TGFEP and put in place fair and merit-based employment practices in their pre-employment and in-employment workplace practices. Through sharing of case studies and discussions during the Q&A session, participants will learn how they can apply the principles of the TGFEP in their workplace practices.
Note: Participants are required to complete TAFEP’s Introduction to Fair Hiring e-learning courseware prior to attending this clinic.
